Dubai: There was moderate to heavy rain in Shouka and Masafi on Tuesday afternoon.
Shouka and Masafi received showers on Tuesday afternoon due to the formation of convective clouds associated with the easterly wind coming from the Oman Sea.
Heavy rain lashed Al Tayba and Masafi recorded about 7.6mm of rain on Tuesday afternoon. No information was available on the showers in Shouka, according to a forecaster at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
The forecaster said there is a possibility of rain clouds in the eastern part of the country on Wednesday, especially over the mountains, by afternoon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy and hazy weather at times over some areas.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in the Oman Sea and Strait of Hormuz.
