Dubai: Weather forecasters are expecting some light rain over the northern part of the UAE and partly cloudy and hazy conditions over the rest of the country.

The amount of clouds will increase over some areas, especially over the coastal, islands, and northern emirates that may be associated with some light rain towards the north, according to the Wednesday’s weather bulletin of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.

A drop in temperatures is forecasted as well with Jebel Jais expecting lows of 11°C and Ras Al Khaimah reaching 15°C. The lowest recorded temperature for Wednesday was at 9.8°C at 7.45am at Damtha in Al Ain.

Horizontal visibility may be reduced over internal areas due to moderate to fresh winds packed with dust or sand. Winds will be strong over the sea causing the Arabian Gulf to be rough to very rough with waves reaching 7ft to 9ft offshore while the Oman Sea will be moderate.
