Dubai: The weather in the UAE is getting cooler with less humidity and some wind, but residents can also expect some dust storms across various parts of the country.

Abu Dhabi's National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles due to possible dust storms.

The weather on Monday will be fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with some clouds appearing over the eastern areas of the country by afternoon.

Moderate to strong westerly winds will also blow over the sea.

Forecasters said that over the next two days, with temperatures also slightly dropping to an expected minimum of 23-28 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas and a maximum of 34-38 degrees Celsius, with humidity ranging from 75 to 90 per cent.

“The relative humidity will increase over some coastal and internal areas during night and early morning with a probability of fog or mist formation. Seas will be rough in the Arabian Gulf especially westward and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman,” said the NCMS.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country yesterday was 19.2 degrees in Damtha at 6.15am.
