Hazy and partly cloudy weather ahead

Dubai: Forecasters are expecting hazy and partly cloudy weather on Monday in some areas.

Forecasters said low clouds may form over the eastern mountains, which may become towering clouds by afternoon or cauliflower-like clouds that are associated with rain showers or flurries, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology’s weather bulletin.

Temperatures will be between 36 degrees Celsius and 49 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi, and between 32 degrees Celsius and 47 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.

Winds will blow light to moderate in general. This may cause dusty conditions over interior areas.

Tuesday’s weather is expected to be fair in general and partly cloudy in some areas. Clouds will start to appear over the eastern part of the country and may develop into towering clouds over the mountains.

The water will be calm or moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea on both days.

The relative humidity will increase during the night and in the morning, especially over coastal areas. There is a chance of some fog.
