Dubai: Weather is not expected to spoil your revelry for New Year’s Eve.

Even though fog is forecast for early Monday morning, a spokesperson from the National Centre of Meteorology told Gulf News it is not expected to form around midnight.

“If the fog does form, it will be late. It is expected to form later at around 2am-3am in the morning, especially in Dubai. So, enjoy the New Year’s Eve,” he said.

At around noon, Dubai skies were hazy. The humidity is expected to increase at night and the temperatures will drop.

If you are going into the desert, to bring in the New Year in a more peaceful way, expect the weather to be chilly. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the lowest temperature earlier this morning was 8.3C in Al Dhaid, which is quite a popular camping area.
