Dubai: A direct bus will connect Ibn Battuta Metro Station with Dubai Park and Resorts from Tuesday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Sunday.

The bus route DPR1 will pass through several locations along the way, such as the Food Corner of Ibn Battuta Mall, The Gardens Junction at Jebel Ali, before heading to Dubai Parks and Resorts.

RTA’s Public Transport Agency has also carried out modifications to other routes in Dubai, namely F19A from Gulf Square to Capital Golden Tower through the Business Bay Metro Station southward.

Changes also covered Route C14 from Safa and Nahda (1) Station to Sama Hotel Apartments with Al Nahda and Doha streets stops cancelled, and the route has been diverted to Al Ittihad Street from Al Mulla Plaza Interchange.

Modifications also include route F32 from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station to the Sustainable City where the route has been diverted to pass through the Dubai Science Park.

On routes 7, 88, and F12 the Iranian Hospital stop has been cancelled, while on routes 8, 85, N55, F43, and F42 the Ibn Battuta stop has been cancelled.

Changes have also been made to routes 61, 64, 63E, and 55, which includes cancellation of Ras Al Khor, Mubarak Transport (1), and Aden Street stops due to road works.

On routes 91, 91A, and F54 Aiwa Gulf and Free Zone (1) stops have been cancelled.
