Dubai: Looking for a quick and easy way to pay your traffic fines? With this new initiative launched by Dubai Police, you can now pay them at the convenient store.

On Sunday, Dubai Police announced that it installed the Wall Street Exchange fine collection system in over 200 Zoom stores across the city.

The service became available following the agreement signing between Wall Street Exchange, which was appointed by the Dubai Police to collect fines, and the Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc).

Following the agreement, residents can conveniently pay their fines in ENOC’s network of 115 service stations, as well as 41 Zoom Dubai Metro stores and 54 Zoom standalone outlets.

Sultan Al Mahmoud, acting managing director at Wall Street Exchange, said: “By providing residents the convenience to pay their fines across more than 200 locations, in addition to Wall Street Exchange branches, we aim to contribute to the vision of Dubai’s leadership to ensure happiness of all residents.”

Motorists involved in minor traffic accidents can also request a report from Enoc petrol stations.

Dubai Police has so far implemented the new procedure at three Enoc stations to cut long queues at police stations.

The three locations are:

  1. Al Wasn station on Tripoli Street
  2. Al Yamamah station on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Abu Dhabi bound
  3. Bypass Road station, also on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Sharjah bound

Motorists can easily spot the trained Enoc staff as their uniform consists of a reflective yellow vest with the Dubai Police logo.
