Dubai: Motorists faced heavy delays on their Wednesday morning commute due to a number of traffic accidents on major highways.
The most affected areas were near Dubai Silicone Oasis, Al Khawaneej and along Mohammad Bin Zayed Road along the Sharjah border.
Multiple traffic accidents were reported along Emirates Road after the Maleha Road intersection, heading towards Dubai.

Another set of accidents were later reported on the Dubai-Al Ain Road in the direction towards Sharjah, causing massive delays on the roads.

In Abu Dhabi, a bus broke down on the E30 towards Maqta Bridge and further affected commuters on their daily route.

A sea of traffic was also reported on Al Ittihad Road, as cars slowly made their way past the Expo Centre in Al Taawun, and on to Al Mulla Plaza interchange.
