Dubai: Motorists across the city faced heavy delays on Monday due to a number of traffic accidents in the morning.
An accident took place on Shaikh Rashid Road, near the Sana junction, causing massive delays towards Karama and Shaikh Zayed Road.

Multiple traffic accidents were reported in both directions of Al Khail Road near the Meydan Road exit.

Slow moving traffic and more minor traffic accidents also happened at the other end of Al Khail Road in the areas along Business Bay Bridge and Dubai Mall, which also affected commuters driving from Sharjah and into the emirate.

Commuters in Deira were also affected by the morning rush, as another traffic accident was reported on Al Khaleej Road, near the new Deira Fish Market, towards Dubai Hospital.

Traffic was also held up at the Dubai-Al Ain Road interchange due, which further delayed commuters on their journey.
A sea of traffic was also reported on Al Ittihad Road, as cars slowly made their way past the Expo Centre in Al Taawun, and on to Al Mulla Plaza interchange.
Heavy traffic also congested roads on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road from Sharjah into Dubai.
