Dubai: Dubai’s Al Seef marine station will be relocated to Al Fahidi area while the Jumeirah Open Beach station will be moved to Festival City, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said.
Its Public Transport Agency will construct the two alternative stations within three months, said Dr Yousuf Al Ali, CEO of the Agency. The relocations will allow for development works by Meraas to continue in the surrounding areas. The marine transport modes, comprising abras, water bus,water taxiand Dubai Ferry, carried over 7.4 million riders during the first half ofthis year.
