Dubai: Motorists faced heavy traffic on Thursday as an accident and the morning rush hour affected a number of vital roads in Dubai.
An accident on Al Ittihad Road brought traffic to a halt from the Sharjah direction, with tailbacks that reached after Dubai Police’s Headquarters.

A number of popular routes were heavy with congestion on Thursday morning’s rush hour, including Financial Centre Road, Shaikh Zayed Road after the Trade Centre Roundabout, and the Dubai-Al Ain Road starting from the Nad Al Sheba intersection that leads towards Dubai.
