Dubai: Commander-In Chief of Dubai Police visited the Airport Security Department in Dubai International Airport and acquainted himself on the inspections procedures on the flights to US.
Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, head of Dubai Police, visited Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport and checked the inspections procedures on the flights from Dubai to US.
He was escorted by Major-General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, Assistant to the Dubai Police Chief for Ports Affairs, and Brigadier Ali Ateek Bin Lahej, director of Airport Security Department.
The visit came after lifting the ban on electronic devices on board of Emirates airline flights to US.
He said the ban lift because of the wise policy of Emirates Airline as they always keen to provide the best safety and security procedures on board of their flights.
