3. Area: Al Nahda
Issue: Traffic light, volume of traffic. Al Nahda has become the new Karama of 1990s in Dubai, with high density of population. Like many residential areas in Dubai, entry to the neighbourhood is a bit tricky. The Mamzar interchange on Al Ittihad road is the best way to enter the area, hence it is perennially crowded with traffic coming from the Mamzar area over the bridge and those coming from Ittihad road fighting for space on the two lanes to turn left from the following intersection.

Dubai: The start of the week took off with a rocky start as heavy congestion delayed motorists across the UAE.

In the capital, a broken down car on Shakbout Bin Sultan Street delayed traffic heading towards Shaikh Zayed Street. No other major traffic delays were reported.

In Dubai, the roads were congested along the Dubai-Al Ain road near Zayed University, starting from Emirates Road to the Nad Al Sheba interchange.

Drivers on Shaikh Zayed Road also faced multiple delays as a traffic accident slowed down traffic on Al Hadiqa Road, especially affecting motorists going towards the direction of Al Khail Road.

Heavy traffic was also reported near Business Bay Metro Station, and from Noor Bank Metro Station all the way to FGB Metro Station, before Mall of the Emirates.

The usual main routes from Sharjah to Dubai were blocked with traffic as morning commuters were stuck on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Al Wahda Road, Al Nahda and the industrial areas heading towards Al Qusais.
