Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has opened two petrol stations in Al Ain, bringing the state-owned oil giant’s service stations in the region to 43.

The service stations are located opposite each other on Khatam Al Shikla Road near Al Ain Sportplex in Al Nabagh area.

Each station has three islands with six dispensers offering E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98 and Green Diesel.

Both stations can serve 12 vehicles at a time.

The Hafeet North and Hafeet South service stations also offer facilities such as fast food outlets, an ATM, and oil change centre.

The Hafeet South service station includes a light vehicle repair workshop.

“Our two new service stations in Al Ain further underline Adnoc Distribution’s commitment to... expanding its geographic presence across the UAE,” said Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Adnoc Distribution’s acting chief executive.

“The new stations represent the latest stage in our efforts to meet the growing demand for our high-quality products and services driven by the rapid economic and urban growth witnessed by the country.”

Both service stations use a vapour recovery system that captures and stores fumes discharged by fuel tankers to help protect and preserve the local environment.
