Dubai: Motorists on Tuesday faced heavy delays on their morning commute after a series of traffic accidents clogged some of Dubai’s major roads.
Two accident were reported on Emirates Road; the first accident happened before the Maliha Road intersection and the second took place after the Dubai Club bridge.

Dubai Police warned motorists to drive carefully and to adhere to traffic rules, such as slowing down near school zones and checking the blind spot before changing lanes.

Accidents also affected the traffic flow on Al Awir Road, Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, and on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
An accident was reported on Hessa Street, in the direction towards Dubai city.
Traffic snarls affected Sharjah commuters, who crawled their way through Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Al Ittihad Road and Airport Road.
