Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday announced it will put five distinguished car plate numbers up for auction.
Plate numbers L22, R10, T13, O70 and Q15 will be auctioned off on June 21 at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
Proceeds from the sale of the number plates will be allocated to the ongoing Reading Nation Ramadan campaign.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, donated items from his official collection that includes a 106-year-old piece of the Kaba cover (Kiswa), embroidered with gold and silver threads. He also donated paintings and other artworks.
