Abu Dhabi: A total of 178 warnings have recently been issued to vehicle owners for failing to keep their vehicles clean, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced in a statement sent today (January 10).
The warnings were issued during municipal inspections in Musaffah Industrial area and owners of the unkempt vehicles have been given three days to have their cars, boats and trucks cleaned. Failing this, the vehicles will be impounded and fines of Dh3,000 imposed.
Repeat offenders will have their fines doubled and the municipality has therefore called upon vehicle owners to keep their cars clean.
