Dubai: The Dubai Frame is all set for a November opening, but you won’t have to wait for the official inauguration to see how it looks like.

Dubai Municipality has posted a video on its official Facebook account, giving residents a preview on what they can expect.

The video clip shows Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, carrying out an inspection tour on Sunday at the Dubai Frame project.

Lootah was accompanied with Eng. Dawood Al Hajiri, Assistant Director General for Engineering and Planning Sector, as well as a number of senior officials and engineers in charge of executing the project.

The Frame, which is referred to in Arabic as Berwaz, consists of two 150 metre-high towers that are connected by a 93m bridge at the top. The space between the towers gives a pretty clear view of the city from a high altitude.

It is expected to attract nearly 2 million tourists a year, according to Dubai Municipality.

Gulf News previously reported that the Dubai Frame will have a smart ticketing system and will not use paper tickets.

On one side of the Dubai Frame, it conveys the images and buildings of Shaikh Zayed Road, which symbolizes the modern city of Dubai, while the other side of the Berwaz includes landmark areas of Deira, Umm Hurair and Karama – symbolizing old Dubai.

The ground floor has been designed to include a museum that tells the story of the city's development from past to present, which also displays old Dubai in pictures.

Visitors can then reach the top floor of the Frame via the main panoramic elevator, where they can see modern Dubai, including the iconic Burj Khalifa, major marine projects, large shopping malls, and the metropolitan streets.
