Dubai: Passengers travelling with Emirates in economy class can now carry from 10kg to 15kg extra baggage allowance on select destinations, the Dubai-based airline has announced.

The offer is valid for sale until September 30, 2017 for travel until December 13, 2017, the Dubai-based carrier announced on its website.

10kg extra

Passengers flying to Karachi, Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jakarta, Cebu, Clark and Colombo will be able to carry 10kg extra on select flights.

However, passengers travelling to Amman, Islamabad, Kabul, Khartoum, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Tunisia and Peshawar can carry up to 40kg on all Emirates flights.

“The offer is in addition to the existing free baggage allowance of 30kg,” said Emirates, “and will only be applicable to tickets purchased in UAE for directional travel commencing in Dubai to … select destinations only.”

Extra 15kg

Furthermore, passengers travelling to Abidjan, Accra, Dakar, Entebbe, Harare, Luanda, Lagos, Lusaka, Manila, Cairo, Casablanca, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Algiers Guangzhou and Dar Es Salaam can carry up to 45kg.
