Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that all parking zones in Dubai, except multi-level parking lots, will be free of charge from August 31 to September 3 during Eid Holidays.

RTA’s Customers Happiness Centres will be closed for Eid Al Adha holiday from August 31, and will resume services on September 4.

“During the Eid holiday, the Dubai Metro Red Line stations will operate on August 31 from 5:30am to 2:00am (of the following day) and on September 1 from 10:00am to 2:00am (of the following day),” Yousuf Al Rida, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services, RTA.

On September 2, these stations will operate from 5:50am up to 2:00am and on September 3 from 5:30am up to 2:00am. The Express Metro Service will not be available on September 2.

Meanwhile, the Green Line stations will operate from 5:50am up to 2:00am on August 31, from 10:00am to 2:00am on September 1, and from 5:50am to 2:00am on September 2 and 3.

The Dubai Tram will operate from 6:30am to 1:00am on August 31, and from 9am to 1am on September 1.

On September 2 to 3, the tram will operate from 6:30am to 1:00am. The timing of all metro feeder bus service will match the timing of metro service.

Al Rida also pointed that on September 1, Marine transit modes will operate as follows: Water Bus from Marina Station (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight, and Water Taxi working hours will be from 9:00am to 10:00pm.

“Dubai Ferry at Al Ghubaiba and Dubai Marina stations will run five services daily at each station: at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:30pm,” he said.

At the Dubai Water Canal Station, the ferry will shuttle between Al Jaddaf Station and Dubai Water Canal Station offering three daily services at 10:00am, 12:00 noon, and 5:30pm. From Dubai Water Canal Station to Al Jaddaf Station, it will operate three journeys at 12:05pm, 2:05pm and 7:35pm, and at the Shaikh Zayed Station, it will run daily round trip service from 6:00pm to 12:00 midnight.
