Dubai: Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) on Wednesday announced the setting up of an Identity and Citizenship (ICA) Customer Happiness Centre in the free zone to serve its community members.

The governing body of DHCC worked in collaboration with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) to introduce the new centre.

Over 8,000 employees working in DHCC and their families are now able to carry out all their residency visa procedures within the free zone, close to their workplace.

“Last year, we collaborated with the bodies concerned to establish the Emirates Fitness Centre and a General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs office,” said Dr Ramadan Al Beloushi, CEO, Dubai Healthcare City Authority.

Commenting on the importance of the partnership, and the new ICA centre, Al Beloushi pointed out that such collaborations are a great example of how government entities can come together to achieve the Dubai government plan of 2021.

The new centre is located in the Ibn Sina Complex (building 27), and operates from 8am to 2.30pm, Sundays to Thursdays. It will be able to process up to 120 applications per day.
