Dubai: In line with its policy to continue providing specialised medical care to the population of Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is hosting visiting doctors who are currently practising medicine in countries such as Germany and Austria.
Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Owghani, director of General Foreign Relations and Media Department at the DHA, said that the doctors will provide consultation to patients in DHA hospitals and in specialised fields such as cardiology and neurology.
Dr Emad Kandil, endocrine surgeon from the USA, will be available at Dubai Hospital from October 11-15
Dr Roman Radl, spine surgeon from Austria, will be available at Dubai Hospital from October 18-22.
A team of five cardiologists from Saudi Arabia will join DHA’s team of cardiologists as part of the Nabadat (heartbeat) initiative to provide free heart surgeries for children with congenital heart disease who cannot afford treatment. The Saudi doctors will be in Dubai Hospital from October 16-24
