Dubai: A new health-care facility, which will also include a dental centre will open in Al Ghusais, Dubai, on February 21.
Thumbay Hospital will have 150 beds and is equipped with ultra-modern facilities.
“The hospital brings together highly skilled professionals and the latest advancements in medical technology,” said Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group UAE, which also runs a medical college and a hospital in Ajman and a separate healthcare facility in Sharjah.
The full-fledged multi-speciality hospital also includes a 25 chair dental hospital, which is the first of its kind in the private sector in the country.
The dental section will offer services in general dentistry which include orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontic and oral surgery. In the medical section, internal medicine, orthopaedics, radiology, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology services are offered.
Moideen said that they are in the process of building a network of teaching hospitals under the Thumbay brand, in Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
