Dubai: The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) has looked into implementing various ambulance points in new entertainment locations across the emirate.

Khalifa Bin Darrai, DCAS’s executive director, toured three locations, which are expected to be heavily targeted by visitors, to examine how they can be covered to ensure a fast response time in cases of emergency.

Throughout his tour around new developments in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and two other new entertainment locations — Last Exit, a food truck park and Dubai Parks and Resorts — Bin Dari looked at how DCAS can provide the highest standard of ambulance service at these locations.

He announced the launch of a new emergency service covering JBR between 2pm and 2am from one of its ambulance points in the area.

Bin Darrai met Saleh Mohammad Al Jazeeri, deputy executive director of Meraas Holding, the developer behind the entertainment projects, and discussed how they can have ambulance points in Dubai Park and Resorts.

“We are committed to respond to any emergency case and report in new entertainment locations, especially in these three places,” he said.
