Dubai: The Clinic and Medical Services Section of the Public Health Department at Dubai Municipality in cooperation with Digital Corporation, will organise a health awareness day for government employees under the title ‘Healthy Employee… Tomorrow’s Promise’ on Sunday.
This comes as a part of a health campaign starting on Sunday, which is divided into three stages. The first stage from February to April will be dedicated for municipal staff. The second stage from May to September will be for workers and the third stage from October to December will be for employees of other government departments in Dubai.
The initiative includes a verity of health programmes, tests and activities in addition to an educational exhibition.
Zubaida Mohammad Sharif, Head of the Clinic Section, said that this type of initiative come as part of the enthusiasm of the civic body to become involved in activities to protect the health and safety of society. It aims to raise awareness of employees regarding health issues and highlight its importance to lead a fruitful and happy life.
She said health is the real investment of advanced countries and the fundamental element which helps to increase the productivity of individuals in the work environment.
