Vatican City: The UAE and the Vatican on Thursday agreed to mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Paul Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, attended the ceremony.
