Abu Dhabi: The joint military exercise “Iron Union 6” between the UAE and United States ground forces began on Sunday.
The two-week drill aims to develop and strengthen relations between the two countries through exchanging trainings and military expertise to enhance the combat capabilities and readiness of the two sides and strengthen international relations to improve ground forces skills and enhance combat efficiency.
All necessary arrangements for the joint drill were put in place and the US forces participating in the exercise, which is the most prominent in the region, have arrived.
The ground forces’ joint plans and programmes with brotherly and friendly countries aim to exchange and develop skills and efficiency of their personnel and increase the level of combat readiness according to the latest combat systems.
