Rabat: The UAE search team is continuing its search for Shaikh Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (Adia) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works, whose glider fell into a lake behind the Sidi Mohammad Bin Abdullah’s dam near the Moroccan city of Rabat.

The communiqué issued by the search team indicated that the search radius has been reduced after the expansive areas around the location were searched thoroughly.

The announcement also added that that the survey and combing process carried out by the UAE search team alongside several international search teams are ongoing and continues as Shaikh Ahmad has not been found as of yet.

The team expressed its high estimation of the cooperation and backing extended by the Moroccan government in this context to enable the search teams to continue its work relentlessly, 24 hours a day.

The statement also added that another communiqué will be issued with updates as they take place.
