SHABWA, Yemen: The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has distributed emergency food aid to underprivileged families in the Shabwa Governorate to alleviate the suffering in the region under the directions of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“The ERC is keen to deliver aid to beneficiaries throughout the region to help alleviate their suffering and meet their basic food needs,” said the head of the ERC team before the distribution. He stressed that the emergency aid campaign is part of a series of humanitarian gestures in the area.
The residents of the Atafah Amakin district expressed their gratitude for the UAE aid and their humanitarian gesture that helps alleviate the suffering of many families in the difficult economic conditions experienced by the country.
