Dubai: Two new UAE Ambassadors were sworn in on Sunday before His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad wished Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, the UAE ambassador to Lebanon, and Hamad Mohammad Humaid Al Junaibi, UAE ambassador to Sudan, success in their duties. He urged them to work hard in order to serve the interests of the UAE and its people.

The ambassadors swore their allegiance to the UAE and its President, and swore to respect the nation’s constitution and its laws, and put the interests of the country before everything else.

Later, Shaikh Mohammad received the credentials of 11 new ambassadors to the UAE. Shaikh Mohammad received the credentials of ambassadors from China, Palestine, the European Union, the US, New Zealand, Mauritania, Turkey, Colombia, Mozambique, Algeria and Senegal.

Present at the ceremony were Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and other senior officials.
