Ras Al Khaimah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday visited His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, to inquire about the health of Shaikh Saud’s son, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and others who were injured during the Marib incident in September.
Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, were present during the meeting held at Shaikh Saud’s palace.
Dr Shaikh Sultan and Shaikh Saud exchanged brotherly talks. Dr Shaikh Sultan then spoke with Shaikh Ahmad and the injured, and hailed their dedication, heroics and sacrifices in the field of battle for the sake of the Yemeni people’s security and stability.
Dr Shaikh Sultan prayed to Allah Almighty for a quick recovery for those who were injured.
The Sharjah0 Ruler pointed out that the bravery and efforts displayed by Emirati soldiers who were performing their duty in Yemen reflects their faith in Allah and love and loyalty for the nation.
He added that the soldiers have engraved their names in history, and that current and future generations will remember and narrate their story that reflects their love and sacrifice for the nation.
Dr Shaikh Sultan prayed to Allah Almighty for the safe return and victory of the courageous UAE soldiers, and also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of martyrs in Paradise.
Shaikh Saud stressed that the UAE leadership is proud of the sacrifices of Emirati citizens, and pointed out that Emiratis are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the nation.
