Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), has honoured winners of the Sharjah Award for the Best PhD Thesis in Administrative Sciences in the Arab World for the consecutive 13th and 14th cycles, at the UoS campus.WAM

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), has honoured winners of the Sharjah Award for the Best PhD thesis in Administrative Sciences in the Arab World for the consecutive 13th and 14th cycles, at the UoS campus.

Dr Mohammad Al Ameri won the award in its 13th edition for his thesis ‘Assessing Resistance to Technological Change for Improved Job Performance in the UAE (Public Sectors)’, which he obtained from the University of Salford, United Kingdom.

Dr Adel Bin Saeed Al Bu Saidi of Oman won the award in its 14th cycle for his thesis ‘Towards Challenging Institutional Silence Model: definition of the concept, its dimensions, assessment and mechanism to ensure it’, from Ohio University, United States.

Dr Hani Bin Khalid Bin Abdullah Shetty of Saudi Arabia won the award’s financial science prize for the 14th cycle for his thesis ‘Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) and the Impact on Internal Control: a study on the Saudi companies’.

Dr Shaikh Sultan also honoured the founding members of the award.
