Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has called for citizens to join the largest national brainstorming session to promote fresh thinking and innovation in generating ideas for developing the health and education sectors.

“We want every man, woman and child to join us in the biggest ever national brainstorming session to find new ideas for health and education,” Shaikh Mohammad said through his Twitter account.

He announced a Cabinet retreat dedicated to the further development of the health and education sectors in the country.

In September, Shaikh Mohammad asked Cabinet ministers to achieve the first place globally in an area of their choice over the next year.

“The UAE government is having a cabinet retreat that will be dedicated to further developing the health and education sectors,” Shaikh Mohammad tweeted. Shaikh Mohammad called for “every man, woman and child” to join the biggest ever national brainstorming session to promote fresh thinking and innovation in generating ideas for developing the sectors.

“We want every man, woman and child to join us in the biggest ever national brainstorming session to find new ideas for health and education,”

“Education and health concern all of us, so I invite all of UAE society to think collectively of creative solutions,” he said.

“Embodying dynamic, energetic and successful leadership, please submit suggestions at http://www.uaepm.ae, email video comments to brainstorming@uaepm.ae, and tweet ideas to #uaebrainstorm,” Shaikh Mohammad tweeted.

“We will dedicate our ministerial retreat to creating positive ideas that unite us all towards a single purpose,” he added. “Through these two days we will discuss many positive ideas. I am optimistic for the contributions and our ability to develop these sectors,” the Vice-President added.

Since Shaikh Mohammad assumed office as Vice-Presidenbt and Prime Minister of the UAE, the entire concept of governance has changed through the innovative outdoor Cabinet meetings held in 2007 at Bab Al Shams desert resort in Dubai and Dhadna in Fujairah. The objective of holding such a retreat reflects his keenness to adopt a flexible approach in public administration and enable it to swiftly advance into the future.
