Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was reassured about the health of students who got injured in the traffic accident that took place on Thursday involving two school buses.
Shaikh Mohammad wished the injured students a speedy recovery.
Earlier in the day, a team from the Crown Prince’s Court visited the hospital where students are receiving treatments to check on their health status.
Shaikh Mohammad stressed that the safety of students whether citizens or expats is a very important issue, especially during their way to school. Their safety is a priory for us, he added
He pointed out that it is every one’s responsibility to comply with traffic laws, take necessary pre-emptive measures to ensure the safety of road users and avoid what might endanger the lives of our children in their way to school.
Shaikh Mohammad also called on the involved bodies to coordinate with transportation enterprises to take all measures needed to develop an effective mechanism to ensure the safety of school students and road users.
