Dubai Police Chief promoted to rank of Lieutenant General
Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has promoted Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Chief, and Major General Mohammad Ahmad Daen Al Qamzi, Director General of the Dubai General Security, to the rank of Lieutenant General.
Shaikh Mohammad issued a resolution promoting 2,700 commissioned and non-commissioned officers and other personnel. He promoted 28 officers from the rank of Colonel to Brigadier, 23 officers from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel, 55 officers from Major to Lieutenant Colonel, 83 officers from Captain to Major, 115 officers from First Lieutenant to Captain and 216 from Lieutenant to First Lieutenant.
Lieutenant General Al Mazeina thanked Shaikh Mohammad for the initiative as well as for his direct and close follow-up of the security institution and for supporting the staff. He congratulated the promoted personnel and urged them to seek excellence and achieve the highest customer satisfaction rates. He also called all Police personnel to follow suit in hard work and dedication.
Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim praised the outstanding efforts of Lieutenant General Khamis Al Mazeina and Lieutenant General Mohammad Al Qamzi as well as their devotion and dedication in performing their duty in serving the nation and the public.
