Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday issued an Emiri decree on the salary component of the Sharjah government employees.
The decree stipulates the amendment of some provisions of Law No 5 for 2001 regarding salaries of Emiratis working in the government sector. The total salary of employees will include 75 per cent as basic salary and 25 per cent as cost of living allowance,
The decree is effective from the date of its issuance and will be published in the official gazette.
