The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) is undertaking a raft of projects for rehabilitating and maintaining internal roads at Mainland, Greater Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Island with a view to upgrading the infrastructure to bring it at par with the standards of sustainable development in Abu Dhabi. The projects are part of the Municipality’s efforts to meet the needs of road users in terms of traffic safety, efficient network of roads, underpasses and bridges, besides lighting of roads and public utilities. Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi City Municipality is undertaking maintenance projects exceeding Dh65 million to upgrade the city’s infrastructure, it announced today.

The projects will include maintenance works in Musaffah and Mohammad Bin Zayed City, as well as maintenance, refurbishment works of internal roads, replacing lighting poles and fixtures in the greater, mainland Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Island.

The municipality said the projects will have a significant role in improving the performance of roads and tunnel networks and lighting as well as improving traffic safety to align it with the emirate’s world-class standards.

The municipality added that the projects will contribute to enhancing the capacity and the prescribed lifetime of municipal assets.
