NMC restructures services

Move includes new e-service gateway for customers

Last updated:

Abu Dhabi: The National Media Council (NMC) has announced restructuring of services it provides to customers across the UAE, including individuals, media institutions, media-related companies, publishing and printing houses, distribution companies and cinemas, among others, in line with the issuance of Ministerial Decree No. 19 of 2017 for Media Services Fees.

The decree stipulates that some services are to be merged, while others will undergo an update in order to enhance performance and speed of procedures. Moreover, a set of services are being further developed at the NMC’s Customer Happiness Centres to achieve the highest rate of customer satisfaction, reflecting the UAE leadership’s aspirations to position the emirates as one of the leading countries in the world by 2021, it said.

Also, the NMC announced the launch of a new e-services gateway that enables individuals and institutions to complete their procedures and transactions from beginning to end digitally, in a simple and convenient way, without the need to visit Customer Happiness Centres, which also remain available for customers who prefer to obtain their services in person.

Customers can easily review the updated list of services and fees, and utilise the e-services gateway on the NMC’s website, www.nmc.gov.ae, effective from July 30.
