Dubai: Police have added two new luxury vehicles to join its supercars patrol fleet.  

Dubai Police has announced the addition of the new Nissan GTR and Nissan Patrol cars, which now joins a growing list of supercars, including a McLaren MP4-12C, a Bugatti Veyron and the Aston Martin One-77.

In a statement, Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, said: “Dubai Police Force has always sought, through the introduction its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate.”

The new patrol cars were unveiled on Tuesday when Maj. Gen. Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Chief, received Khalid Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani, Vice Chairman of the A.W. Rostamani Group.

“With the addition of the new luxury patrols, Dubai Police will have its presence strengthened in popular tourist areas, such as near the Burj Khalifa and the Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Boulevard,” he said.
