Dubai: Indians looking for jobs in the UAE can start the procedure of applying for a work visa with a simple touch of a button.

Dr Ahmad Abdul Rahman Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, launched a smartphone application in New Delhi that aims to help Indian citizens apply for a work visa to the UAE.

The app will facilitate the process of completing a majority of the procedures in India, which will guarantee a work visa to the UAE hassle-free.

Dr Al Banna explained the advantages of the smart application, and according to the state news agency Wam, the app is available in English and Hindi for Android platforms, while Malayalam will soon be added to cater to the large number of job applicants are from Kerala.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices. 

He added that the number of Indian visitors to the UAE reached around 1.6 million last year, while Indian visitors to Dubai exceeded 1 million between January and September 2017.
