Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Post Group (EPG) gifted a National Day commemorative stamp to Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development and Chairman of the Higher Committee for National Day Celebrations.

The gesture is in recognition of Shaikh Nahyan’s efforts in the fields of culture, youth and community development.

The stamp was presented during a banquet organised by the ministry.

Shaikh Nahyan said that the initiative to issue the stamp marking this national occasion reflects the patriotism of EPG’s officials.

He added that such qualitative initiatives bolster values of national identity and loyalty to the UAE and its wise leadership.

Shaikh Nahyan indicated that the level of cooperation between the ministry and EPG is a model for cooperation between government institutions.

He also highlighted the efforts exerted by the ministry in organising activities to celebrate UAE National Day.

The commemorative stamp, marking the UAE’s 44th National Day, will be available to the public from next week.

Fahd Al Hosani, Acting CEO of EPG, reaffirmed EPG’s support for all national activities and initiatives launched by the ministry. He added that the issuance of the commemorative stamp comes as a result of the fruitful cooperation between the ministry and EPG.
