Abu Dhabi: A number of internal roads and utility lines have been developed in Abu Dhabi’s former Al Nahyan camp area, and the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced today (July 23) that its first phase of development for the locality is nearly complete.

The targeted area in downtown Abu Dhabi, Sector E25, comprises 41 residential plots, as well as a number of offices and retail outlets. Its development has been carried out at a cost of Dh73 million, according to a municipal statement.

The infrastructure works, which began in December 2014, also set up lines for telecommunication, and water and electricity supply, as well as sewage networks. A rainwater drainage system and 114 lampposts were also put in place.
