Abu Dhabi: All members of the Emirati society are effective contributors to supporting and reflecting the UAE’s civilised values through their backing to and solidarity with the national institutions and initiatives, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said on Thursday.

He made these remarks after accepting membership No 1 of the ‘We Are All Police’ initiative, which was launched last month by Abu Dhabi Police.

Shaikh Mohammad received the membership from Major General Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, in the presence of Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, who received e membership No 2.

“Establishing peace and security and enhancing mechanisms of protecting the society are common responsibilities that fall on the shoulders of all individuals and institutions through creating a social culture that establishes necessary foundations for everyone’s participation in maintaining the emirate’s security and stability,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

Due to fast-growing security challenges and because of the availability of human and material resources to face such challenges, it has become very necessary to pool various efforts and encourage all institutions and individual to achieve further contribution in order to make all available potentials and capacities an additional incentive that boosts the performance of all institutions and security services to early detect and prevent all illegal activities, Shaikh Mohammad added.
