Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday (Monday) received a phone call from Francois Hollande, President of France.

During the call, they discussed bilateral relations in various fields in order to serve the mutual interests of both countries and peoples.

Shaikh Mohammad and Hollande also discussed regional developments, particularly those that concern combating extremist organisations, as well as the international stand on interventions for combating terrorism in the region.

They spoke about coordination between the UAE and France and their vision for eradicating terrorism, violence and extremism, as well as ways to establish foundations for regional security and stability.

Shaikh Mohammad and Hollande also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.
