London: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has discussed with David Cameron, British Prime Minister, bilateral relations and regional and international affairs of mutual interest on Thursday at No. 10 Downing Street.

At the beginning of the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad offered his condolences to the British government and its friendly people for the British civilian victims who were killed in the latest terrorist act in Sousse, Tunisia. 

He also conveyed his deep sympathy to their families and wished speedy recovery to the injured. Shaikh Mohammad condemned these terrorist acts that are against all religions, human and ethical values.

On his part, Cameron expressed his appreciation for the good stands of the UAE and thanked Shaikh Mohammad for his noble sentiments towards the British people and the families of the victims.

During the meeting, the two discussed friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and the UK and ways of enhancing and developing them to serve the interests of both countries and peoples.

The conversation turned to areas of coordination and consultation on a number of regional issues, particularly the response to terrorist organisations and the risk they pose to peace and security.

The two leaders also discussed the importance of exerting more efforts and cooperation for the elimination of terrorism, extremism and deterring terrorist organisations from causing instability

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister Dr. Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,  Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and other senior officials
