Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday visited Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport to review the flow of passenger traffic, and inspect the facilities provided to them.

Shaikh Mohammad began his tour at the departures hall at Concourse 3 where he stopped at Emirates airline’s check-in counters, baggage-screening facilities and passport counters. He interacted with passport officers, urging them to treat travellers with courtesy.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was present.

Shaikh Mohammad then headed to Concourse B, where he inspected various sections of the Free Zone market and the lounge for first class passengers.

He inspected the services offered by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Emirates Airlines to passengers departing and arriving from different parts of the world.

Shaikh Mohammad was briefed by officials about projects being implemented in the airport to offer the highest level of services and facilities to arriving and departing passengers.

The Vice-President also greeted passengers during his tour, and expressed happiness and pride looking at the cultural and social harmony between passengers from across the world and airport employees from various government bodies.

Shaikh Mohammad then visited the business class lounge, where he had lunch with his delegation.

Also accompanying Shaikh Mohammad during the tour was Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group, and other officials.

At the conclusion of Shaikh Mohammad’s tour, Shaikh Ahmad said that he was proud of the Dubai Ruler’s follow-up to ensure the satisfaction and comfort of passengers at Dubai International Airport. He pointed out that such follow-ups are a source of motivation for airport bodies and staff to provide the best quality of services to passengers.
