Abu Dhabi: Since its establishment, the UAE’s approach to humanitarian work has been linked with the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, tweeted His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

In tweets published on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, Shaikh Mohammad said the UAE has consolidated humanitarian work with a continuous work system under the patronage of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“I am proud of the work of Emiratis in the field of humanitarian work, and their diligent and continued efforts that put a smile on the faces of the needy and instil happiness in their hearts,” tweeted Shaikh Mohammad.

“The UAE is an oasis of giving, and its generosity will always lend a helping hand to people, without distinction. It will continue its work to spread peace and hope,” he added.

“The UAE’s humanitarian work has contributed to alleviating the suffering of the poor. It provides a glimmer of hope for the victims, without any agendas and narrow interests.”
