Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received Jean-Yves Le Drian, France’s Minister of Defence.
Shaikh Mohammad and Le Drian discussed joint cooperation and coordination in the field of military and defence, as well as bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them. They exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual concern and current developments in regional issues. The talks also touched on UAE and France’s efforts to achieve peace, security and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and other military officials.
