Commenting on the launch of the UAE Volunteers platform on Thursday, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, tweeted: “On its journey of giving and through its fine humanitarian values, the UAE won the hearts of millions of people around the world. Volunteer work is a value that duly develops this framework.”
In other tweets, Shaikh Mohammad said: “Youth are the most giving. Establishing a solid platform for volunteering youth represents an ideal launching point for generations that are proud to serve their nations.”
“Volunteering is a noble and prestigious value, and we strengthen it in our youths and strive to consolidate it in our society, which will in turn bolster our social fabric and dedicate ourselves to all forms of giving.”
