FUJAIRAH/SHARJAH: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has offered condolences to the families of Emirati martyrs Zayed Ali Al Kaabi and Mohammed Obaid Al Hmoudi, who died while carrying out their national duty as part of Operation Restoring Hope being conducted in Yemen by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back the country’s legitimate government.

During visits to the two families in Murbah district in Fujairah and Dibba Al Hisn in Sharjah, he expressed deep sympathies and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs in paradise and grant solace to their families.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed stressed that the people of the UAE take pride in the heroes who offer great sacrifices in the battlefield.

“They are the protectors of our home country and the whole nation. They are the ones who, in highly crucial moments, are making a new history for our region. They will always be bright examples in our national progress and the history of the region. Generations to come will always remember them with pride,” he said.

“The historic stance of the families of the heroic martyrs shows all the pride and glory and the overwhelming feelings that the Emirati people have towards the martyrs’ sacrifices. It shows their genuineness as people who were raised on the values of loyalty, national belonging and patriotism. They showed loyalty to the legacy of forefathers and the sacrifices made for this good land,” Shaikh Momhamad Bin Zayed added.

Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Khalid Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed, Chairman of State Security; Dr. Ahmad Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
